Daniel Calil carries on the mats a life built through discipline, sacrifice, and passion for Jiu-Jitsu.
Born in Goiânia, Brazil, and raised in Brasília, Daniel moved to the United States in December 2017 with the dream of building his legacy in Jiu-Jitsu. Inspired by Brazilian pioneers Alexandre Dande, Fábio Costa, and Roberto Tussa, he followed his path with determination.
With over 32 years dedicated to Jiu-Jitsu, Daniel became an accomplished athlete, earning multiple state and world titles, and gaining recognition on the international stage.
In 2022, he founded Gracie Barra Windermere, making a profound impact on the local community and helping hundreds of families through Jiu-Jitsu values.
Today, at Gracie Barra Lakeland, his mission remains clear:
